HAT OUR CLIENTS ARE ASKING FOR AND WHAT THEIR AUDIENCES ARE DEMANDING.
It's been a busy 6 months for the OrangeDoor Production Team! Since January we have successfully produced 30 sensational events for more than 10 lovely clients. All this while welcoming no less than 7 amazing new superstars to our team - building from the ground up post-pandemic.
Our clients have spoken and we have listened. There has been a big focus on sustainability and we are so delighted that our clients are now owning this narrative as much as we do.
SUSTAINABILITY IS THE No1 PRIORITY AT LAST!
We’ve made huge strides in producing sustainable events, from the suppliers we use, to the materials used for sets, we ensure our carbon footprint is as small as possible while also supporting local companies.
We’ve implemented changes to the logistics of our events to help reduce wasteful travel with carpooling and preplanning. When selecting venues, we are mindful of inclusivity for guests, not just in the physical world, but also in digital, for example including braille on stands.
VIRTUAL IS STILL POWERFUL BUT FUNNEL STAGE IS DETERMINATE
OrangeDoor has produced 16 virtual and 14 live events with meeting, conference, exhibition and hospitality mandates to meet.
Though there was an initial gold-rush on face-to-face (F2F) events what we noticed was the rate of virtual events stayed constant. Virtual is Queen (We are female-owned-and-led) for information exchange and content amplification/reach and for many of our clients the environmental impact of Virtual is so significantly lower than F2F, they have decided to stick with this format where they can. This works extremely well for some top of the funnel activity while B2B buyers self-select their information, and we are seeing a trend towards F2F dominance returning to the bottom of funnel activities where people want more of an experience. Indeed, this is what we are recommending.
The Production and Client Services Teams have proven how dynamic they really are following the pandemic and everything that came with it – from the change in client needs, to their own roles being altered overnight and the constant threat of another surge looming. They’ve taken it all in their stride, providing exceptional events regardless of what difficulties are thrown their way and we couldn’t be prouder.
